Thrikannapuram Sree Krishnaswamy Temple is revered for its ancient heritage, tied to the legendary Koopakara Math, akin to the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple. It stands as a testament to the divine vision received by the chief monk, leading to the creation of a sanctified space for Lord Sri Krishna in the form of Guruvayurappan.

The main deity is Lord Sri Krishna, depicted as Santana Gopala Murthy with four arms (Chaturbahu), symbolizing his divine presence and power. This centuries-old stone idol is the focal point of the temple’s spiritual offerings.

The temple is open daily from 5 AM to 8 PM. Special pujas and ceremonies may alter these hours, so we recommend contacting the temple directly for updates.

The temple is accessible by road and is a short drive from Thiruvananthapuram. Public transport, taxis, and private vehicles are commonly used by visitors to reach the temple.

The temple is managed by the Sri Krishna Dharma Sangha, which oversees the daily operations, rituals, and the organization of events and festivals.
